Radiant Cut ( rectangular ).

This is one of the many “Fancy Shape” diamond types, the diamond shape is very close to the emerald cut diamond in its outer general outline , however has many additional facets giving it a more refractive quality, more sparkle if you like. The cut can vary from stone the stone, which means careful selection is required, especially if more than one radiant cut is needed for a ring design.

Many of these diamond can be too deep for the weight they carry, leading to smaller looking stones than would otherwise be the case if it were better cut.

Shown here is a client diamond  supplied by Ellissi with perfect cut, I think the photo shows well  just how fantastic these diamonds can be when selected by a professional.

This one is 1.71 ct E/VS1/  GIA certified with very good polish and symmetry.

Diamonds weighing 0.50 ct or over are accompanied with certification from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). Diamonds ranging in size from 0.20 ct - 0.49 ct can also be certified. GIA Certification

In addition to the GIA certification, all our diamond rings are accompanied with a full independent Valuation by a valuer registered with the National Council of Jewellery Valuers. This is an impartial assessment of the quality of the diamonds and ring. This NCJV document provides you with a figure for the retail replacement value of the ring for insurance purposes, it is also an independent third party assessment of the ring.
